+1.  Make these two files available on the docker host VM:
+
+${gerrit_repo_root}/vid/lf_config/vid-my.cnf
+${gerrit_repo_root}/vid/lf_config/vid-pre-init.sql

+2.  Set up and run the mariadb docker image:
